The former glamour model was seen taking her 18-year-old son – who has septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness and growth hormone deficiency, Prader-Willi syndrome, ADHD and autism – to a station to watch trains go by in the BBC documentary 'Katie Price: Harvey and Me' and following the clip, Network Rail extended a job opportunity to the teenager.

Tracey O'Brien, Media Relations Manager for the company, said this week: "We, Network Rail, would be happy to arrange for Harvey to make an announcement at one of the Network Rail managed stations when it is safe to do so."

And now, it seems Harvey has accepted the opportunity, as Katie revealed her eldest son will take on the job.

Sharing an Instagram story from The Royal Mencap Society – a leading charity that supports people with learning disabilities – Katie wrote: "Incredible news!

"Harvey is going to be a train announcer for @Network Rail (sic)."

Fans of the star launched a campaign for the teen to announce trains after being touched by his rail know-how on the documentary.

Meanwhile, Katie recently confessed that she hopes that she isn't outlived by Harvey as she worries about how he would cope if she wasn't there to look after him.

The 42-year-old star said: "I wish he would go before me. Not because I want him to die, but you talk to any mother and they worry about who will look after their disabled child when they are gone.

"He wouldn’t understand why I wasn’t there and it would break his heart. No one would cuddle him like me. No one would kiss him.

"The thought of him dying of a little broken heart would be awful."
