Exactly 365 days after walking down the aisle with Alex Reid, Katie Price is planning to serve him with divorce papers.
Apparently you’re not allowed to get a divorce until 12 months after you get married, so Katie will have to suffer another eight days before she can set the wheels in motion to rid herself of being Mrs Reid.
According to rumours, Katie fell out of love when she watched Alex lose a cage fight to Tom "Kong" Watson - informing Alex of this awful fact during one of the crisis meetings between the couple.
It cant be a nice feeling for Alex, he gets battered in one fight and in turn loses his wife. One source told The Sun; "She decided the only way to get through to Alex was to hurt him - a skill at which she is very adept. She told him the moment he lost his fight to Watson she fell out of love with him. The truth is Alex fought like a warrior and was left with awful injuries. But instead of being proud, Katie felt shame he hadn't lived up to her expectations."
Shockingly, when Alex was in hospital being treated for a fractured cheek bone and eye socket, Katie went out on the town. Its hardly surprising then, that Alex is reluctant to accept a cash settlement if Jordan insists on linking it to an agreement not to talk about their marriage.
After Monday's showdown, Alex said: "It's the end of the road. I'll probably leave here with the shirt on my back and that's it. My priority now is finding somewhere to live."
