Kathleen Turner says she once slapped David Harbour during a love scene.
The pair previously co-starred in a stage production of 'Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?' in London in 2006 and Kathleen, 66, has claimed that her younger co-star bit her during one of their performances.
When asked if she ever hit anyone on stage, she told The Daily Mail's Eden Confidential column: "He deserved it. It was in 'Virginia Woolf', a young man playing Nick.
"He got carried away sort of trying to embrace and he is all over Martha [her character] at some point and he bit me in the neck. And I just went [whack]. It was reflex."
And Kathleen insisted it was not just method acting gone too far.
She said: "Not at all. Absolutely not. It had nothing to do with it."
Although Kathleen did not mention her co-star by name, 'Stranger Things' actor David played the role of Nick.
Meanwhile, David, 46, is now married to Lily Allen, after the pair met on celebrity dating app Raya.
The pair tied the knot in Las Vegas in September 2020.
Lily told the Sex, Lies & DM Slides podcast: "We didn't plan to announce it to anyone, it was meant to be a very private affair we were leaving Vegas and driving to Los Angeles and Nevada Clark County tweeted our marriage certificate.
"So that saying, 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas', what happens in Vegas gets tweeted out by Vegas!"
