Kate Moss' daughter Lila has insisted she is "more responsible than my mother was at my age".
The 21-year-old star has followed in her supermodel mum's footsteps, but she admitted she can be "very shy" in social situations.
Speaking to Vogue Spain magazine's March issue, she said: "I don't think I'm mature for my age, but I am very shy.
"I don't have a lot of self-confidence when it comes to meeting new people and hanging out with people who are older than me.
"I become quite introverted and withdraw into myself, but yes, maybe I am more responsible than my mother was at my age."
She has learned a lot from watching Kate, now 50, navigate the fashion world and make it her life.
She added: "I grew up seeing how demanding this profession is and how much you have to travel alone.
"The people she worked with became her family because she saw them so often. I saw how they bonded and that's nice."
However, growing up Lila didn't give much thought to forging her own career in that industry, as her mum discouraged her from following in her footsteps.
She explained: "When I was younger I didn't consider it because my mother refused to let me go into the industry.
"I think she didn't want me to do it without first being sure that the people she knows and trusts were going to look out for me and make sure I was okay."
Things changed when her mother set up the Kate Moss Agency in 2016, which allowed the supermodel to relax knowing she could "oversee everything" and make sure her daughter was being looked after.
Lili said: "So I was like, 'Now it makes sense.' When I was younger I fantasised that maybe someday I would participate in a photo shoot, but I never thought I would be able to do some of the things I've done already."
