Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson
Despite their recent separation and the end of their engagement, Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy are to spend Christmas together.
The former couple will spend the festive season in Aspen, Colorado, and appeared on great terms as they shopped for last-minute gifts over the weekend at Boogies, and stopped for coffee and pastries at Paradise Bakery.
E! News was told by an onlooker: "They seemed very cordial. Friends are with them. Kate's brother is there too. Overall, it looks very friendly and not romantic."
Last Christmas, the two spent the holidays with Matt's relatives in the UK, but this time round they're believed to be staying at Kate's family home in the countryside.
The actress has previously spoke of just how much she enjoys a "traditional" Colorado Christmas with mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell.
She recently explained: "We always go home. I grew up in Colorado and we always [go] back to Colorado. The whole family comes -- my brothers and all of the kids and at some point during Christmas we all get together and do that.
"We're [a] super traditional Christmas family. Mom and I decorate the house. We make snowmen -- kind of magical."
