Kanye West has visited Lamar Odom for the first time since his collapse last month.

Lamar - who is still married to Kanye's sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian despite their 2013 split - was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel after an alcohol and drugs binge and is slowly recovering in a Los Angeles hospital.

On Sunday (15.11.15), Kanye, his pregnant wife Kim Kardashian West and their two-year-old daughter North paid a visit to Lamar at Cedars-Sinai hospital with doctors hoping that Kanye can help to jog Lamar's memory.

The family spent three hours with Lamar during their visit.

The basketball star is reportedly having trouble recognising his loved ones and TMZ recently reported that he is finding "communication and mobility" difficult and has "made little progression in the last couple weeks" leading doctors to conclude he has suffered a considerable amount of brain damage.

Khloe recently explained that Lamar is improving but added: "It's more his brain is still affected and physically he has to learn how to walk again and he is learning how to feed himself again."

She also revealed that he was unaware of the circumstances surrounding his collapse because they fear informing him about the drink and drug-infused binge which led to his organs shutting down may "set him back".

Khloe explained: "I can't tell him. We tell him he had a brain injury, I can't tell him how that brain injury was caused. It will set him back."
