Kanye West wants to have a lavish wedding when he ties the knot to Kim Kardashian as this will be his first marriage, but Kim wants a small affair, as it will be her third wedding.
West 36, is adamant he wants a huge ceremony when he ties the knot with partner Kim Kardashian - who has previously been married to Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries - but she's insisting on having much smaller celebration as it will be her third marriage.
A source was quoted in Us Weekly magazine as saying: "Kanye has never been married before and wants a big wedding, so Kim is slowly getting used to the idea. He wants something really cool and big and over the top. It won't be cheesy though, there will be a real sense of design."
Friends close to Kanye believe he's matured since welcoming his daughter, North, into the world in June and is content with his blossoming relationship.
The source explained: "Kanye has been in love with Kim for years. He's so happy now and seriously into her. He has matured quickly and grown a lot. He seems more at peace, it's cool to see him so happy and calmed down.
"He has told friends and family that he was going to marry Kim since the day he met her. And he is determined to do it."
