Justin Verlander became giddy with excitement when he saw Kate Upton in a see-through gown on their wedding day.
The 35-year-old baseball star married the blonde beauty in Tuscany, Italy, last November, and he's admitted to being wowed when he saw Kate, 25, wearing a sheer Christy Rilling Studio gown.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Justin confessed: "I knew she was doing a change, but didn't know what it was.
"The second I saw her in that, I was like, 'OK, time to go. Let's get out of here. Wedding over!'"
Prior to the wedding, Justin took some time out to reflect on just how fortunate he's been in his life, having realised his professional ambitions as a baseball player and then to have fallen in love with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue star.
He said: "I ordered a cup of coffee and just reflected.
"I texted some old friends and just took a minute to appreciate winning the World Series and that I was marrying the love of my life."
Justin also revealed that their honeymoon in Puglia, Italy, was a magical experience for the loved-up duo.
He shared: "Kate and I are doers, we want to experience towns and cities wherever we are.
"We rented a car and drove to little towns. We learned the history and experienced the food. It was a lot of fun."
Despite their wedding bliss, Kate and Justin don't have any immediate plans to start a family.
Instead, the married couple are happy to just look after their beloved pets for the time being.
Justin - who plays baseball for the Houston Astros - said: "We have no immediate plans for the human expansion of our family.
"But we love dogs. So that is always the table for us!"
