Justin Timberlake snubbed a five-star hotel to stay in a Premier Inn.
The 32-year-old singer refused to splash out on a hefty sum to stay in a top-of-the range suite, and instead chose to pay just £95 for the budget accommodation in Stratford, east London, in order to get a few hours sleep following his joint headlining performance with Jay-Z at London's Wireless Festival on Sunday (14.07.13).
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's great, it's right on site.
"We're having a chilled-out get-together with the guys after the gig -- beer, cider, burgers and chips, no frills. Justin doesn't like too much fuss and we're leaving early to go back to the US anyway."
Justin recently faced backlash after his new single 'Take Back The Night' offended an anti-rape group with the same name, who sent him an angry letter claiming he "used their name without permission" in a "sexual" song.
However, the 'Suit and Tie' hitmaker previously insisted he was unaware of the sexual violence charity when he named his release, but hopes the mix-up will raise awareness for the foundation.
He said previously: "Upon the release of my new single 'Take Back The Night', I was made aware of an organisation of the same name called The Take Back The Night Foundation. I wanted to take this opportunity to let all know that neither my song nor its lyrics have any association with the organisation.
"As I've learned more about The Take Back The Night Foundation, I'm moved by its efforts to stop violence against women, create safe communities and encourage respectful relationships for women - Something we all should rally around. It is my hope that this coincidence will bring more awareness to this cause."
