Justin Bieber has won Best Male at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the sixth year in a row.
The 21-year-old singer - who made a musical comeback this year with his number one song 'What Do You Mean?' - picked up the award at the ceremony at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy on Sunday (25.10.15).
Justin beat out fellow stars Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Jason Derulo and the awards show's host Ed Sheeran for the gong.
In his acceptance speech, Justin said: "Wow thank you it's been a long couple of years. I just feel like this is pretty awesome to be recognised for my music. I want to thank my fans, my mum my dad, God and everyone I love you thank you."
Justin is the second most nominated artist at the awards with six in total.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis opened the show before Jason Derulo took to the stage for his own performance.
Taylor Swift leads the nominations at the annual ceremony and among the accolades she is up for are Best Song, Best Video and Best Collaboration for 'Bad Blood', her track with Kendrick Lamar, and Best Female, Best Pop and Best Live Act.
In the Best Female category Taylor will battle it out with Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, while to take home the prestigious Best Song statuette she'll have to wrestle with Ellie for 'Love Me Like You Do', Major Lazer and DJ Snake's 'Lean On', Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's 'See You Again' and 'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
