Julia Roberts has branded Harvey Weinstein "corrupt".
The 'Pretty Woman' actress has called for society to "come together" to fight against predatory behaviour in the wake of the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct from the 65-year-old producer over a period spanning over three decades.
She said in a statement: "A corrupt, powerful man wields his influence to abuse and manipulate woman. We've heard this infuriating, heartbreaking story countless times before. And now here we go again.
"I stand firm in the hope that we will finally come together as a society against this kind of predatory behavior, to help victims find their voices and their healing, and to stop it once and for all."
And Julia, 49, urged any victims of sexual abuse or harassment to turn to specialist organisations for help and support.
She concluded: "If you've been subjected to any kind of abuse or harassment, there are places to go for help, including the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (RAINN.org). Or call the National Sexual Assault Hotline 800-656-HOPE (4673)."
Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling - who worked with the disgraced producer on 2011 movie 'Blue Valentine' - is "deeply disappointed" in himself for having no idea about any alleged harassment until now.
He tweeted: "I want to add my voice of support for the women who have had the courage to speak out against Harvey Weinstein.
"Like most people in Hollywood, I have worked with him and I'm deeply disappointed in myself for being so oblivious to these devastating experiences of sexual harassment and abuse.
"He is emblematic of a systematic problem. Men should stand with women and work together until there is real accountability and change."
Following a damning expose from the New York Times newspaper, a string of other famous women, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale and Cara Delevingne have come forward to speak of their own experiences with the movie mogul - who is receiving treatment at a US facility, and the fallout has seen Weinstein fired from The Weinstein Company and split from his wife, Georgina Chapman.
