Julia Roberts says life after she turned 30 "has been bliss" and insists she's had the best time since leaving her 20s behind her.
Roberts is now 46 and says the last 16 years have been the best of her life, as she doesn't have the hang-ups she had in her 20s.
She explained: "On my 30th, every person I loved and adored in the world was with me. I was excited and could not understand the tone of doom about leaving my youth behind.
"Since then, my life has been bliss. If I knew that 30 was going to be so much fun I would have done it at 22!"
The 'August: Osage County' star isn't worried about ageing and instead wants to focus on her career, taking on the best roles she can and being a fantastic mother to nine-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and six-year-old son Henry - her children with her husband Daniel Moder.
Julia told The Sun newspaper: "Happiness takes on different forms as you get older, smarter, have more friends or get deeper into relationships in life.
"And the least of my worries is age. I work hard at my job and as a mum. I do not count the years. We all get old and that is OK."
