Julia Louis-Dreyfus found motherhood to be "super challenging" at the height of her fame.
The 63-year-old actress - who has Henry, 32, and Charlie, 27, with her husband Brad Hall - was asked about what obstacles she had faced during her career and noted that one was when she struggled to find work after she left 'Saturday Night Live' but then things became trickier when she was "very famous" as Elaine Benes in the sitcom 'Seinfeld'.
Speaking on 'Be My Guest with Ina Garten', she said: "Getting employed. There was a period of time after 'SNL' where it was a a one, two, three year period in which I was really pounding pavement.
"I nabbed a pilot, which is the first episode of a TV series but then it didn't go to series. The other challenge for me in my career has been the juggling act. Because while I was making 'Seinfeld', for example, I gave birth to both of my children. Super challenging, but also fabulous, because I was becoming very famous at this time and it really kept all of that in perspective."
The former 'Veep' star was then asked how her pregnancies were hidden during her time filming the show and she explained that the first time the crew went to great lengths to conceal her belly but "nobody cared" by the time her second pregnancy came around.
She said: "Yeah, well, let's see. The first go round, yes. I stood behind things, I carried boxes, etc. By the time I was pregnant the second time, nobody cared.
"It was like it wasn't happening. We just sort of… I walked in, I was out to here, and no one said anything."
