Josh Duhamel Excited to Raise His Unborn Son

Josh Duhamel is relieved Fergie is expecting a baby boy.

The 'Safe Haven' star, whose wife is set to give birth to their first child next month, can't wait to teach his son everything he knows about life.

The 40-year-old actor told gossip website TMZ.com: "I always wanted a boy. It's gonna be fun to teach him what I know."

The 'Transformers' star also admitted that he is glad their first child isn't going to be a little girl as he won't have to worry about being an overprotective parent when it comes to dating.

He said: "I have three sisters. It wasn't fun as an older brother."

Josh previously revealed he can't wait to become a father, even if it means sleepless nights looking after his newborn.

He said: "I look forward to putting the attention [on the baby]. All the love that you have for something like that is what makes it so great and I think we are both ready for that."

Meanwhile, Black Eyed Peas star Fergie celebrated with friends, including her bandmates Will.i.am and Apl.de.ap, at a second baby shower at SLS Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday (11.08.13).

She shared pictures of herself posing with her guests and chocolate cupcakes from the event on Instagram.

The singer, 38, first toasted her pregnancy at a star-studded "gayby" shower last month with friends including Kelly Osbourne, Adam Lambert, Julianne Hough, drag queen Ru Paul, Lance Bass, Gabriel Aubry and Molly Sims.
