Jordin Sparks hopes her new album will shock people.
The 'No Air' hitmaker has just released her third LP, titled 'Right Here, Right Now', and says she wants to surprise her fans with the new music.
She explained to Entertainment Weekly: "I want people to say, 'Wait, that's Jordin?! I grew up listening to a very wide range of music and I feel like that's made me who I am.
"So the first album was a lot more pop, the second album a lot more rock influence, and this album has a lot more R&B, reggae, and hip-hop."
Meanwhile, Jordin previously used her music to take a swipe at her ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo - who she split from last year.
In her own remix of Drake's track 'How About Now', she sang: "Feeling like I have to get all of this off my chest / I know you are sitting there thinking 'What is she going to do next?'
"Remember I deleted all my other guys' numbers out my phone for ya? / Remember when you broke your neck and I had to wash your back for ya? You probably don't remember half of the s**t that I did for ya."
