Jon Hamm and Amy Poehler are throwing a post Emmy Awards bash for the losers tonight (22.09.13).
The 'Mad Men' actor, 42, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series, has revealed he and the 'Parks and Recreation' actress, 42, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series, decided to host an exclusive party together because they don't expect to win and had such a great time at Kristen Wiig's afterparty when she lost the award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series to 'Modern Family' star Julie Bowen last year.
He told E! News: "We called it the Losers Lounge because nobody that was there won and it kind of stuck. We were like, 'That was a really fun party. We should do that again, but we should do it bigger and better and invite our friends who aren't going to win either and we'll have a good time with it.'"
The duo, who also both lost out on awards last year, said they will welcome any Emmy winners who wish to attend their party but they will be required to leave their statues at the door and donate $1,000 to a charity of their choice.
Some 3,800 guests are expected to attend The Governors Ball at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, which will take place immediately after the ceremony and has an "enchanted forest" theme.
The 65th Annual Primetime Emmys will be broadcast live on CBS tonight (22.09.13) at 8 p.m. ET.
