John Stamos has been arrested for DUI.
The 'Full House' star - who played Uncle Jesse on the hit US sitcom - was pulled over by police in Beverly Hills on Friday (12.06.15) after they noticed he was driving erratically.
According to TMZ officers then handcuffed the 51-year-old actor before taking him to hospital for treatment for a possible medical condition.
In a statement from the Beverly Hills Police Department which was given to HollywoodLife.com, they confirmed John was cited for DUI and is set to appear in court on September 11.
The statement said: "The BHP stopped the vehicle at Canon Dr. and Santa Monica Boulevard. The driver and sole occupant was identified by his driver's license as John Phillip Stamos, and by his own statement.
"Due to a possible medical condition, Mr. Stamos was transported to a local area hospital by the Beverly Hills Fire Department for observation. Subsequent investigation determined that he was driving under the influence and was placed under arrest."
Meanwhile, John - who starred on 'Full House' from 1987 - 1995 - recently confirmed he has signed on to produce the upcoming spin-off 'Fuller House' which will air on Netflix next year and include many members of the original cast.
