Charlie Sheen thinks John Mayer is suing his best friend to seek "revenge."
The singer-songwriter filed a lawsuit against Robert 'Bob' Maron, accusing the jeweller of selling him a counterfeit Rolex watch after he splashed out $5 million on several timepieces, but 'Anger Management' star Charlie believes John is really angry because Bob convinced Rolling Stone magazine to put Charlie on the cover instead of the 'Who You Love' hitmaker in June 2012.
The 48-year-old star told gossip website TMZ.com: "It's really sensitive and I really shouldn't talk about it, but to hell with it. This douchebag tried to bump my Rolling Stone cover and s***w Bob in the process, and went behind both of our backs. This is not about watches, this is about that cover.
"I had the Rolling Stone cover and then something happened and they gave it to him, and he'd already had it.
"I watched my dad shoot his (cover) as a 16 year old with Annie Leibovitz in my driveway and I said, 'that's what I want to do someday,' that's the only press piece I ever wanted in 30 years. So I finally got it and I was so excited, and then I got the call that I got bumped, and Bob went after him (John) and we got it back. John pulled some things behind the scenes that were really uncool; really super 100% un-dude and I've got no time for that. This isn't about watches, this is about vanity and all the other s**t."
