John Mayer is getting Katy Perry a watch for Christmas.
John Mayer is reportedly considering getting his superstar girlfriend Katy Perry a rare watch for Christmas and has enlisted the help of an antiques dealer.
The acoustic singer is mulling over his options for what to get his 'Unconditionally' hitmaker girlfriend this year, and is reportedly interested in finding a rare timepiece.
A source said: "He's asked a friend who's a rare watch dealer to email him photos of options. John's a great giver, who finds unique presents."
The 'Your Body is a Wonderland' star will have to go a long way to beat last year's gift, when he got her a custom designed guitar covered in intricate designs, including her initials and the date they first met.
A source said at the time: "Since they met he has been trying to prove he isn't the guy everyone says he is.
"This should definitely prove that - every little detail on the guitar shows how much he thinks of her."
Since he started dating Katy in summer 2012, John appears to be a changed man and to have put his womanising days - which saw him date stars including Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson - behind him.
