John Boyega surprised 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' fans by showing up at several screening of the new movie.

The 23-year-old actor delighted fans by stopping by a number of showings of the film in New York on Friday (18.12.15).
John took to Instagram to reveal his visits, writing: "Amazing energy from Brooklyn fans! I did random pop ups so they had no idea! Some pop ups before the film and some after the film. Love it! (sic)."

John plays new character Finn in the movie, a disenchanted Stormtrooper who joins the resistance.
The latest film in the 'Star Wars' franchise stars veterans Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, along with newcomers John, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis and Domhnall Gleeson.
