Joey Essex thinks it's "funny" when people call him stupid.

The former 'Only Way Is Essex' star is famous for making stupid comments on the ITVBe show and even landed his own reality series 'Educating Joey Essex' off the back of them, but he's claimed he's a lot more intelligent than people think.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the British Takeaway Awards at The Savoy Hotel in London last night (09.11.15), Joey said: "I think it's quite funny. People call me stupid, but if they think I'm stupid, then they're stupid aren't they really?
"Don't get me wrong, if you give me a times table or a maths test I'd probably get an F or a U but anything else I'd get an A*."
The 24-year-old hunk added that while he doesn't think 'TOWIE' is as good as it was when he was part of the cast, he still enjoys watching it.
He said: "I'm really busy but I watch it, it's a good show. I enjoy it, I crease at it. You've got the Gatsby [Liam Blackwell] rapping. They're alright aren't they?"
