Joe Jonas was asked to maintain a "comfortable distance" from Britney Spears when he supported her on tour.

The 'This Is Me' singer joined the pop superstar on the European leg of her 2011 'Femme Fatale Tour' and was informed by her entourage that he needed to stay away from Britney when backstage.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on US TV show 'Watch What Happens: Live', he spilled: "It's funny because ... technically you're not supposed to get too close to Britney. Even though you are on tour with her they still ask you to keep a comfortable distance."
Joe did break the rule at their final concert together and reached in for a hug with the '...Baby One More Time' hitmaker.
But rather than recoil, he insists she loved his act of kindness.
The 26-year-old DNCE star said: "On the last day ... I just went in there and gave her the biggest hug. She was very loving and had fun with it."
Cohen then asked: "So the rule is you can't get close to Britney?"
To which Joe replied: "You can't get too close."
