Jodie Marsh has been branded "the biggest hypocrite on earth".
A number of reality TV stars have blasted the former glamour model for criticising the likes of 'Geordie Shore' and 'Love Island' for not being "classy" and showing x-rated behaviour, insisting her own past means she shouldn't be judging others.
After Chloe Ferry was evicted from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, Jodie tweeted: "Emma: "Historically Geordie Shore normally does quite well in the house, where do you think it's gone wrong?" PEOPLE HAVE WOKEN UP."On a serious note, I think people have finally realised it's NOT actually cool to have sex on TV (unless you're a porn star)....
"It's also not cool to be so drunk that you wet yourself on TV, projectile vomit on TV or crawl around naked & dribbling on TV....
"And as someone who in the past has done a fair few embarrassing things on TV, you know it's not cool when even I can't watch it.
"RIP Geordie Shore, Love Island & Ex On the Beach. You had a good run but your time is up. The public have spoken & they want classy.(sic)"
But 'Love Island' star Kady McDermott insisted Jodie's remarks were unfair, untrue and hypocritical.
She hit back: "I completely understand why people get offended with sex on TV, but on Love Island you never actually saw it.
"But when Jodie Marsh preaches about 'class' that's when I have to step in.
"Biggest hypocrite on the earth. Good night lovelies."
And former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant Casey Batchelor accused the body builder of being jealous.
She shared a quote which read: "Shout out to the females that compliment each other. That jealousy s**t is dead."
Olivia Buckland branded Jodie "bitter" and even after the outspoken star blocked her and fiance Alex Bowen from her Twitter page, insisted she would continue to defend the show on which they found love.
She wrote: "Sitting on your high horse when you have no right to do so. How can you tweet about equality straight after slating others for life choices?
"If u choose equality for race & gender u chose it for sexuality, you chose it for people having freedom to be themselves and not be judged.
"Ok so me and @ab_bowen07 have just been blocked. @LoveIsland is our baby and I will stick up for it forever. Hey it found me my fiancé!
"Not only is @ LoveIsland my Bae. I [heart] reality TV. I love REALNESS. I love raw personalities. I hate judgemental people. Respect the hustle xx"
But Jodie insisted she didn't want to be drawn into a row, however amusing she found the backlash.
She posted: "Unfortunately I can't entertain the kids anymore. I have grown up things to do. But this has been fun tonight Twitter.
"I really am off now. My Kindle awaits. As always Twitter you are a massive source of amusement."
