Jodie Foster finds it "strange" that people mistake her for Helen Hunt.
The two-time Oscar winner has revealed her bemusement at having been constantly mistaken for the 52-year-old actress, pointing out that Helen is considerably taller than she is.
She told Daily Mail Australia: "I've been mistaken for Helen Hunt so many times and she for me. We talk about it a lot every time we see each other.
"It's strange because she's at least five inches taller than me and the only similarity is that we part our hair on the same side."
The amusing mix-up only came to light a few weeks ago when a Starbucks barista mistakenly wrote 'Jody' on Helen's cup.
Of the incident, the actress subsequently wrote on Twitter: "Ordered my drink @Starbucks asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said 'We gotcha'. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Jodie - who helmed the new crime thriller drama 'Money Monster', which is set against the backdrop of Wall Street corruption - claimed recently that America has a very "strange relationship" with money.
Reflecting on her new movie, the Hollywood star said: "It does talk about America's very strange relationship with money. It's peculiarly American. It's hard for us to understand self-worth is without it because we don't have an aristocracy.
"Each generation has to reinvent itself. You don't inherit your value in our country and that means there's all this pressure. Unless you're rich and famous or have material possessions, you don't know what you're worth."
