Dame Joan Collins used to fret over Cara Delevingne's party-loving ways.
The 82-year-old star is Cara's godmother and has revealed that during the model-turned-actress' younger years, she feared Cara would go off the rails.
She shared: "There is one godmother who is quite famous and there was a period of time when we were a little bit concerned about Cara.
"White powder dropped and that had us a little worried. So I talked to her and she said, 'Oh, don't worry about that'. She's very cavalier.
"But she's a lovely girl and I am very fond of her. She's an amazing actress."
Dame Joan also admitted the 'Paper Towns' star has loved the party lifestyle since her school days.
She told 'The Jonathan Ross Show': "Ever since she was 14, or maybe 12, she always used to have her birthday party on the town, at a wonderful bar in St Tropez, La Voile Rouge, the most decadent and ridiculous place in the world.
"Cara and her sisters danced on the tables. Various other girls would shake up champagne and spray it over everybody."
Meanwhile, Joan also admitted she's still struggling to "process" the death of her sister Jackie, who died of breast cancer in September.
She said: "We planned to go to Hawaii for Christmas with all our children. It was quite a blur. Great grief takes a while to process."
