JJ's twitter picture of baby Princeton
Union J star JJ Hamblett has named his son Princeton J. Alexander.
The boy band star and his girlfriend Caterina Lopez welcomed their first baby yesterday morning (28.11.13), and have already decided on a name including the traditional 'J' for his band.
JJ's bandmate, Josh Cuthbert, said he and Caterina are both doing well following the birth.
He told Sugarscape.com: "I think they're good. They're obviously tired but they're very happy and it's a dream come true for both of them so I'm happy for them both. Hooray."
Josh added he doesn't rate JJ's skills when it comes to nappy changing, but offered to step in and help him.
He added: "I'd say [his nappy changing skills are] pretty low. I think mine are probably higher because I've got loads of young brothers and sisters so I think he'll be asking me for tips to be honest."
Shortly after the birth at 09.30am yesterday, 'Carry You' star JJ posted a picture of his newborn's tiny feet, and the happy couple were inundated with messages of congratulations from fans, family and their famous friends.
One Direction star Niall Horan was among the well-wishers, tweeting: "Congrats JJ mate!"
JLS star Aston Merrygold, added: "Congrats bro!! hope mum n baby are both well!! (sic)"
Ella Henderson, who starred on the same series of 'The X Factor' as Union J, wrote: "Congratulations @JJUJWorld & @mscaterinalopez on your baby boy! Auntie Ella volunteers for babysitting!! Xx (sic)"
Thanking everyone, JJ later tweeted: "Massive thanks for all the kind messages today!!! You're all amazing :-)) much love from all 3 of us xxx (sic)"
