Jimmie Allen secretly welcomed twins with another woman during his split from wife Alexis.
The 'Best Shot' singer took to Instagram on Tuesday (19.03.24) to express his gratitude for his six children, Aadyn, nine, from a previous relationship, Naomi, four, Zara, two, and Cohen, five months, with his estranged spouse, and nine-month-old Amari and Aria, whose mother is unknown.
After sharing photos of each of the children, Jimmie - whose spokesperson confirmed in October his divorce from Alexis was off - wrote: "I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.(sic)"
Hours later, Alexis hit out in a cryptic post, but didn't name the 'Good Times Roll' hitmaker.
She wrote on her own Instagram Story: "I'm just going to say, those lies will always catch up to you. What is done in the dark will come out in the light every single time. So keep playing.
"I am truly at the point in my life where I am just letting God work and not saying s*** anymore. People tell on themselves, they show you who they are, they always expose themselves. You don't have to do a single thing, ever. Something always comes out and it just happens naturally.(sic)"
Jimmie and Alexis, 28, split last April after it emerged he had been unfaithful while she was pregnant with their third child.
A month later, he wrote an apology for his infidelity and in October, the country star's representative confirmed they were back together as their separation was "never fully seen through legally".
The representative added to People magazine: "They decided to work on things together and are still together."
The couple announced their pregnancy news and separation in April.
Allen said in a joint Instagram statement: “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex and I have made the decision to separate.
“As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.
“Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.
“In light [of] our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.”
