Jesy Nelson hasn't "had time to plan" her upcoming wedding.

The Little Mix singer got engaged to Jake Roche after he proposed on-stage at Manchester Arena - where they first met - as their pal Ed Sheeran belted out the lyrics to her favourite song in July, and while she has started looking for her dream dress, she insists they are in no rush to wed.

The 24-year-old singer said: "We have looked at dresses and stuff but we've been so busy. We haven't even had time to plan it yet. We're just enjoying being engaged at the moment."

While she and Rixton singer Jake, 23, spend a lot of time apart due to their hectic careers, the 'Black Magic' hitmaker thinks it makes their relationship "more exciting."

Speaking on 'Loose Women,' she explained: "Well he's just as busy as we are but we've been quite lucky because when I'm not busy I'll go to wherever he is and vice versa, but I think in a way it makes it more exciting when you don't see each other for a while and then you do see each other, it's like, I don't know."

Jesy, whose future mother-in-law Coleen Nolan is a panellist on the chat show, says they've also developed a close bond and are quite similar.

Asked if she ever worries about what Coleen is going to say to her, she said: "No I love that about Coleen... and I'm pretty much like that and all."

While Coleen can't wait for their nuptials, the 50-year-old presenter added: "There's no need to rush into it. It's hard to have a relationship and they're still both so young. Everyone does keep asking me, you, Jake, when is it? When is it?"
