Jessica Simpson's parents will both be involved in her upcoming wedding.
The 33-year-old singer is set to marry Eric Johnson - with whom she has children Maxwell, two, and 10-month-old Ace - in Santa Barbara, California in July and has asked her mother, Tina Simpson, to take on the role of Maid of Honour with her younger sister, Ashlee.
Jessica Simpson's father Joe will give her away at her wedding to Eric Johnson, while her mother Tina will be Maid of Honour.
A source told Us Weekly magazine the blonde beauty's father Joe, whose divorce from Tina was finalised last year, will walk her down the aisle even though have had a complicated relationship in recent years.
But Jessica is determined her wedding will be nothing like the ceremony she had with her ex-husband Nick Lachey and doesn't want to wear a traditional white dress.
An insider said: "Jessica is having something unique made. It will be very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick
Jessica - who got engaged to Eric, 34, in November 2010 after five months of dating - recently admitted her plans have been progressing and she is "very close" to issuing invitations for her nuptials.
She said: "We are very close to sending out our invites. I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel. Eric's family alone is almost 90 people, so it'll definitely be a big event."7
