Jessica Simpson followed a vegan diet in the lead-up to her wedding.
The 33-year-old star changed her eating plan by cutting out animal products two weeks before she married her fiancé Eric Johnson on Sunday (05.07.14) in order to be in the perfect shape for her big day.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Jessica did a vegan diet for about two weeks leading up to the wedding."
The 'With You' hitmaker, who has daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 12 months, with Eric, lost 60 lbs earlier this year by following the Weight Watchers diet in order to fit into her glamorous gown.
A source close to the Weight Watchers spokesperson recently said: "One of her biggest weight-loss motivators has been looking great in her wedding dress. She's actually helped design it, and one thing is for sure: It will not be traditional!"
Meanwhile, Jessica's dress designer Carolina Herrera thought the star looked like a "beautiful golden girl" when she walked down the aisle in front of 250 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
Speaking about the "sumptuous champagne and gold strapless multi-layer tulle gown," the fashion designer said previously: "The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal."
