Jessica Biel celebrated her Emmy award nomination by "drinking alone".
The 36-year-old actress - who has three-year-old son Silas with husband Justin Timberlake - has been shortlisted for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie at the upcoming ceremony and when she heard the news she'd been recognised for her performance as Cora Tannetti in 'The Sinner', she was in Amsterdam and had a quiet but "fabulous" celebration when she got the news after her little boy had gone to bed.
She told 'Late Show' host Stephen Colbert: "I had all day to think about it. Normally if I was at home in L.A. someone's waking you up and you are sort of discombobulated and it's exciting.
"But I was waiting all day to hear what was going to happen.
"I was with my kid, I put him to bed, and I enjoyed a fabulous glass of champagne by myself. It was amazing. You know what, I like drinking alone. I'm sorry, I like it. I think it's cool, I think it's OK."
Though Jessica won't appear in the second season of the miniseries, she is still on set in her role of executive producer and admitted she feels "left out" because she's not in front of the camera.
She said: "It's unbelievable. But also, I get there and I feel left out. I want to be doing the scene."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty previously spoke of how "proud" the 'Can't Stop the Feeling' hitmaker was when he heard about his wife's nomination.
She said: "Justin loves the show. You know, it's an intense show. I think he was very moved by the story and by the importance of telling a story about trauma like this. He was always one of my biggest supporters early on trying to get this thing made. So he's been there from the beginning, obviously.
"He said he's really proud [of my nomination]. He said he was confident that it was going to happen all along."
