Jessica Alba buys Kinder Eggs from all the different countries she visits because her children are obsessed with the candy.
The 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' actress travels all over the world for her Hollywood career and for her Honest Company business and she always picks up some of the Ferrero manufactured treats because her daughters Honor, eight, and Haven, five, love getting the culturally different toys included inside the chocolate shells.
In an interview with the New York Times newspaper, she shared: "I'm not really into souvenirs like T-shirts, but I do like buying local products a destination is known for, like sake when I was in Japan. And, when I'm travelling internationally and don't have my kids with me, I buy them Kinder Eggs, which they are obsessed with."
Jessica - who is married to Cash Warren - tries to take her kids on her travels as much as possible but she admits the jet lag can be a problem with them because they are both still so young.
She said: "Jet lag is a big one (challenge). We spent nine days in New York recently, and I kept them on West Coast time because it was easier. They went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 10am, instead of 7pm and 7am. It's harder when we go to Europe or Asia, but I usually keep them awake the first day, and by nighttime they're tired enough to sleep ... We have been going to Hawaii a lot, which has been nice because I have never really vacationed there. It has a distinct sense of culture and a big Asian influence. Also, I think Paris is great with its playgrounds and museums. The Rodin Museum there is the best because it's indoors and outdoors, and the kids can wander around and get ice cream. It's not so precious."
