Jesse Tyler Ferguson isn't worried about what to get his husband for Christmas.
The 'Modern Family' star, who tied the knot with 27-year-old lawyer Justin Mikita in New York City in July, has decided not to splash out on expensive gifts this year as the couple spent so much money on their wedding and also recently purchased a new home.
The 38-year-old actor told EOnline.com: "We just moved into a new house, so we're going to enjoy that. After getting married, we decided we're not getting each other gifts. It's pricey to get married, y'all!"
The couple, who are planning to spend the festive season at home before jetting off to Anguilla to ring in the New Year with friends, have opened up a pop-up shop, Tie the Knot, in the Beverly Centre in Los Angeles to help raise funds for organisations fighting for marriage equality.
Jesse admitted it has been a stressful experience, adding: "I don't recommend opening a pop-up shop four months into being married.
"This is all Justin. I have to give this all to him. We just got married so to put this type of stress on a four-month marriage? It was very risky."
The store includes bow ties designed by George Takei, former NFL players Scott Fujita and WNBA star Brittney Griner.
