Jeremy Renner's missing dog has been found over a month after the 42-year-old actor was left devastated when his French bulldog, Hemi, escaped from his Hollywood home on July 19.
Renner recieved the good news when the search for the dog discovered Hemi safe almost 200 miles away.
A message posted on the Facebook page, which was set up to help find Hemi, says: "Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and followers. Your tireless work, support, faith, and positive messages helped to bring Hemi home. Because of everyone here--and because of everyone YOU shared with--Hemi is safe and sound, and we are all totally elated.
"We could NOT have done this without you, and for that, you will have our gratitude forever.
"We are touched by the generosity and love you all have shown to a dog you don't even know. Thank you for caring so much. Best regards, Hemi and Family (sic)."
Another posting on the page added: "Hemi is in good general health. He has gotten new collars and ID tags, and even a GPS unit for his collar!"
Jeremy's representative told E! News: "He was found in Visalia. Jeremy is so happy to have his dog back home."
