Jennifer Lopez's children simply "don't care" about her fame.
The 46-year-old singer-and-actress - who has twins Max and Emme, eight, with ex-husband Marc Anthony - admits her kids aren't interested in her glamorous job, even when their friends praise her work.
Speaking on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', she said: "They know and they've heard from school now, people say things at school like 'Your mum's famous' or 'My teacher loves you, and is your big fan'- things like that. They know their dad sings, they have seen us perform, and seen me on TV, like on 'Idol' now. I've don't think they've even noticed before this year, I've done it for five years!
"They don't care. They don't care at all.
"I'm like 'Mummy needs to work', they are like 'why?', I'm like 'So we can eat and stuff. Mummy's all alone and needs to work'."
The 'On The Floor' hitmaker also spoke about how "hard" it will be to leave 'American Idol' - on which she has been a judge since 2010 - when it ends after 15 seasons.
She said: "I mean, you guys know I cry for everything.
"It's just been such an amazing show.
" I've watched it since the first season and now to think that it's going to be gone it's hard.
"It's brought us so many great moments."
