Jennifer Lopez always trusts her instincts.
The 'I Luh Ya Papi' hitmaker - who recently ended her relationship with Casper Smart after two-and-a-half-years together - insists she has no regrets in life because she believes she always makes the right decisions for herself.
Asked what she advice she would give her younger self, she said: "I would tell her to follow her gut because everything always works out in the end."
She added: "The best advice I ever received was someone telling me to always trust my instincts, because you know yourself best."
The 44-year-old beauty also told SoulCycle's website: "Everyone goes through challenges and the most important thing you can do is to learn and grow from each of them. I've had my own personal challenges, but I've walked away from them with a new sense of perspective and that's where I find my greatest strength.
"I don't have a specific mantra, but I often remind myself how lucky I am through daily affirmations. I always try to channel any negative energy and turn it into something positive."
Jennifer, who has six-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony, has thrown herself into her work since splitting from 27-year-old Casper, but credits her family and friends for helping her to relax.
She said: "I'm constantly busy working, so when I do get time off, I like to relax and spend time with my kids, my family, and my friends."
