Jenna Dewan is stepping down as the host of 'World of Dance'.
The 37-year-old actress has confirmed she is walking away from her current role on the NBC reality competition series, although Jenna says she "won't be able to stay away for long".
In an Instagram post, she explained: "Hi to my World of Dance lovers! I have some news to share: I will not be returning to the show as host for season 3. But! I won't be able to stay away for long, and plan to return to mentor contestants as much as possible (sic)"
Jenna insisted she's relished her time on the show and thanked NBC for the opportunity.
The post continued: "It has been an absolute thrill to be a part of this incredible, groundbreaking show from the very beginning, and I am forever grateful to my @nbc family, @jlo, @derekhough @neyo and everyone involved in this journey [love heart emoji] We are changing the dance world and giving opportunities to dancers in ways I've only dreamed of! Can't wait to share more news with you soon. Much love to everyone (sic)"
Jenna did not offer a specific reason for her decision to walk away from the role, but according to E! News, it was due to her hectic production schedule.
'World of Dance' - which is executive produced by Jennifer Lopez - will not have a host for season three, but Jenna intends to do as much mentoring as her schedule allows.
Meanwhile, Jenna and her estranged husband Channing Tatum are reportedly both "casually dating" people after their break-up earlier this year.
The celebrity duo - who are committed to co-parenting their five-year-old daughter Everly - announced their separation in April after nearly nine years of marriage, and it's said they are taking single life as it comes.
A source explained: "Jenna is feeling ready to move on and to get back out there ... [Channing is] just interested in meeting people and dating."
