Jenna Dewan has been on a "few dates".

The 37-year-old actress is dating a little since splitting from Channing Tatum - who is thought to be romancing British singer Jessie J - and is in a "really great place".

A source said: "[Jenna] has been on a few dates but doesn't talk about a boyfriend. Jenna is busy working and going back and forth between Los Angeles and Atlanta. She's in a really great place."

And things are great between Jenna and Channing and they are successfully co-parenting their five-year-old daughter Everly and are trying to make it as easy as possible for her.

An insider added to People magazine: "Everything has been really good between them ... Nothing has really changed from when they were together. It hasn't been a big adjustment for their daughter either, because not much has changed. Channing is a great dad when he is around. They co-parent and have the same goals for their daughter, which is they want her to know that she is very loved."

Meanwhile, Jenna previously revealed she has "been on a wave of growth" since splitting from Channing.

She said: "It's been a journey, and it's been a transformation of myself - my needs and wants as a woman. I think everyone wants to hold on to what's in front of them, but when you open your mind, saying, 'I want what's best for myself and my daughter,' you have to be okay with however that looks. I feel I've been on a wave of growth. It does look different; it's a new normal, and I really think we'll get used to that. It's always challenging to go through a big change and have the whole world have an opinion about it."
