Jeff Brazier worries about his son Bobby stepping into the spotlight.
The 41-year-old star is father to Bobby, 17 and Freddie, 15 from his relationship with the late reality star Jade Goody and admits that he is concerned about how Bobby's budding modelling career could put his son in the limelight – despite it currently being on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Asked if he worries about his son's career, Jeff said: "Definitely, as this particular parent who obviously not only had his own difficult experiences but also can cite many occasions when his mum went through the same.
"I think that I do enough worrying on behalf of both me and his mum when it comes to what he might be subject to."
Jeff added: "I just hope that everyone's kind, I hope that he looks after himself and makes good decisions and to have a skill and talent and develop those things."
Jeff revealed that he has been impressed with Bobby's dedication to his ambitions, despite being "gutted" when COVID-19 put his modelling on hold.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He was gutted, because it was all falling into place.
"That doesn't mean to say it won't happen, sort of, after this. He's had to deal with that question, you know, will it?
"So when I see him getting up at five o'clock, when I see him training twice a day when I see him, reading all the books that I've left laying around the house I didn't think he'd ever be interested in, you realise that he's really serious about his career, and he's taking himself seriously.
"And he understands what it takes to make a success of something and we're not just going to sort of hope or expect everything to fall on our lap.
"Actually, you've got to deserve it and you've got to learn it and he's shown a lot of that."
