The dark-haired hunk ended his romance with the former Girls Aloud band member after 18-months of marriage, and the 33-year-old singer has since embarked on a romance with musician Liam Payne with who she has two-month-old baby Bear with, but her former partner has avoided speaking about her and her tiny tot during this year's 70th annual Cannes Film Festival.
When asked in an interview with 'Good Morning Britain' on Thursday (18.05.17) about how he is coping following the break up from the brunette beauty and his businesses, the restaurateur said: "I couldn't be more happier.
"It's my new venture, it started last night it went very well. It cannot be better."
The star was then quizzed more about his former girlfriend and whether he has reached out to her following the news she has welcomed a baby into the world earlier this year.
He was asked: "Do you have a message for Cheryl about her baby?"
But he swiftly dodged the question and replied: "It's the 70th film festival - we might as well focus on the festival and making it the best possible, I want to make it count."
