J.B. Gill has got engaged to long-term girlfriend Chloe Tangney, he announced over the weekend.
Gill popped the question to longterm girlfriend Chloe Tangney over the weekend, and revealed on twitter she had agreed to be his wife.
The 27-year-old star posted a photo of his face with Chloe's hand over his mouth, showing off her glittering engagement ring.
Alongside the image, he wrote: "She said yes... #chlobeengaged x (sic)"
Chloe later tweeted: "Can't believe I'm engaged. Love JB Gill so much xxx (sic)"
J.B. then thanked well-wishers for their messages of congratulations.
He said: "Thank you all so much for your congratulations and lovely comments, been an amazing day!!keep you all posted...hehe goodnight, God bless x (sic)"
Among the first to send congratulations on the social networking website was the singer's former JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams and Marvin Humes.
Aston tweeted: "@JBGill @ChloeTangney couldn't keep that secret any longer finally!!!! so happy for you both! #love #oooowegunaparty'."
And Marvin wrote: "The BIGGEST congratulations to my Brother and now soon to be my Sister! @JBGill @ChloeTangney couldn't be more happy that you're engaged!X"
Oritse - who is dating dance AJ Azari - added: "myself & @AJAzari would like to congratulate @JBGill & @ChloeTangney on the Great news! What a great start to the year for you both xXx (sic)"
Marvin's wife Rochelle - with who he has eight-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai - also congratulated the happy couple.
She wrote: "The best phone call I have ever had @ChloeTangney @JBGill soooo happy Think I'm more excited than you both! We're having another wedding (sic). (sic)"
J.B. recently spoke of his desire to get married.
He said: "For me, it would be marriage, then babies. I'm traditional in that way, but it's definitely something I would like to focus on."
JLS split at the end of 2013 after five years together.
