Jason Momoa was "pretty reckless" before he became a father.
The 38-year-old actor thinks he was simply "wasting time" being "out of control" before he had children Lola, 10, and Nakoa-Wolf, eight, with his wife Lisa Bonet, but once parenthood was a reality for him he changed his ways and is "more focused" than before.
Speaking about how parenthood has changed him for the better in the December issue of Men's Health magazine, the tattooed hunk said: "I really can't tell you what the hell I was doing before I had kids. Just f**king off. Wasting time. I think I was pretty reckless and definitely a bit out of control. Now I'm more focused. I probably love myself more and take care of myself more because I want to stick around. When I was 15, I was out of the house; I was gone. Right now I'm just Papa."
Jason has praised his and 'Cosby Show' star Lisa's two kids as the "greatest piece of art" he could make, and he believes the pair are already "way smarter" than he is.
He explained: "My kids are the greatest piece of art.
"They're already way smarter and just way better than me. God, I love it. It's beautiful. I want it to be the greatest thing I ever do: make good humans."
And the 'Justice League' star - who plays Aquaman in the highly anticipated superhero film - has revealed he wants to be known for being an "amazing husband" to his 49-year-old spouse, and a "great father" for his two kids more than anything else.
He said: "I want to be remembered as, I hope, an amazing husband and a great father. If I can pump them full of amazing stuff and surround them with beautiful art and music, then I'm going to live out my life watching them."
