Jane Lynch believes Cory Monteith will always be remembered.
Jane Lynch believes Cory Monteith will always be remembered as he was a leader among the cast of 'Glee' and his character Finn Hudson was 'amazing'.
The actress has praised her late 'Glee co-star, who was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, in July after overdosing on heroin and alcohol, and says he was the leader among their cast.
The actress told HollywoodLife.com at the Variety & Women In Film Pre-Emmy Event on Friday (20.09.13): "He was the quarterback on the show and the quarterback within the cast."
The 53-year-old star also opened up about the show's upcoming tribute episode to Cory, which will air on October 10th.
She said: "The episode is equally about him and the Finn Hudson character -- which was an amazing character. He was and always will be remembered."
Jane is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her role as Sue Sylvester at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles this evening (22.09.13) and will help pay tribute to Cory during the ceremony.
Producers have selected five people to be recognised during the special In Memoriam segment - including Cory, 'Sopranos' star James Gandolfini, producer Gary David Goldberg, actress Jean Stapleton and actor Jonathan Winters - and friends of the late stars will share memories and tributes.
