• She gave birth to her daughter, Lila Grace, in 2002 (she was age 28). The father is Jefferson Hack, co-publisher of the British magazine, Dazed and Confused.

 

  • In 2005 she faced bad press and lost a number of modelling contracts (one of which being with H&M) after a British tabloid newspaper published photographs of her allegedly snorting cocaine.

 

  • It was also 2005 when she started dating Babyshambles and Libertines frontman, Pete Doherty. Doherty suggested that he and Kate were engaged at a 2006 concert, even though they had been on and off.  The pair called it quits though a year later.

 

  • Depite the scandals, Kate managed to make a comeback and one way she did it was by launching a signature line at Topshop. The clothing/accessory range was a hit in the UK and was later sold in the US.

 

  • In 2007 Kate met Jamie Hince, one of the singers from the indie/rock band, The Kills. It was announced in early 2011 that the pair were engaged and they finally wed on July 1 2011, in the Cotswolds, England. She wore a John Galliano dress, whilst Hince wore Yves Saint Laurent.
