Ireland Baldwin has rubbished Stephanie Seymour's recent criticism of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
The modelling duo were labelled "b****es of the moment" by the 47-year-old star, but Ireland has hit back at the suggestion, claiming it does Kendall and Gigi a disservice.
Ireland - who is the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Kim Basinger and Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin - told 'The Talk': "I used to be really, really close to both of them.
"I've grown up with Kendall, gone to school with her my entire life, been around Gigi. They're both, honestly, really nice, beautiful people. There's no denying that they're absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, sorry."
Ireland's comments came in response to Stephanie's recent remarks, which have been widely criticised.
She said: "Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. They are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title, 'B****es of the moment!' That would be a good title for them.'"
But Ireland, 20, insisted it is not "fair" to compare models of different generations.
She said: "It's not really fair to compare the two different eras, you know?
"That was an older era of supermodels, who are still now beautiful and working and doing their thing - it's not like it ended, but it's different. You just can't compare. They are supermodels. Honestly, there's no denying it."
Meanwhile, Stephanie recently issued an apology over her comments via Instagram.
She wrote: "A supermodel is a supermodel. I respect and admire all these women in my industry, in particular Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. Having been in the business over 20 years I know how hard these women work. Bravo to both Gigi and Kendall for their success!! (sic)"
