Professor Green doesn't "rely" on Millie Mackintosh to "fix his problems".
The 'Lullaby' hitmaker wed the former 'Made In Chelsea' star in 2013 but insists he unloads all of his negative feelings onto a therapist rather than his wife as that's "not what [their] relationship is about".
When asked if he feels safer since tying the knot, he explained: "Kind of, but I don't rely on her to fix my problems, that's not what our relationship is about. If I need help I need to find the right person to give me that help.
"I do see a therapist, and that's one of the best things I've done, but that's recent, it's not something I done a long time ago, that's in the last year really. I don't think you should rely on your partner to fix those problems. You should be there to support each other."
And the 31-year-old rapper - real name Stephen Manderson - also admitted he used to feign a physical illness in his younger days as his anxiety stopped him from going to school.
Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, he added: "I've suffered with depression, and anxiety's something that I've had since I was a baby. I used to say to my nan, 'Nan, I've got a belly ache', which meant I ended up taking a lot of time off school with doctors putting cameras down my neck looking for a physical ailment that wasn't there, but I didn't have the tools to say I'm anxious."
