The 25-year-old rapper was due to get hitched to the Los Angeles Lakers basketball player at the end of the year but has pushed back the date because she is set to go on tour in support of her upcoming album 'Digital Distortion'.

The star revealed: "I'm planning my wedding, actually moved my wedding 'cause I have to tour so my wedding plans are changing. It was going to happen at the end of the year but now I have to go to work."

Iggy admitted the news was "sucky" and made even more so by the fact that the couple will now have to wait until after Nick, 30, finishes his basketball season in 2017.

She told Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS-FM radio show: "We'll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that. So that kind of is a bit sucky, but it's alright."

Meanwhile, it was revealed that the blonde beauty has been struck down with a throat infection.

Although Iggy should be celebrating the release of her new single 'Team' on Friday (18.03.16), her festivities have been unexpectedly cut short by a nasty virus.

Taking to her Twitter account this morning, she tweeted: "ugh. I'm sick. just had the throat doctor at my house. ill be good in a few days - caught it early ... Guys i actually feel so sick, My whole body feels weak. (sic)"
