Ice Spice has laughed off the rumours

The 24-year-old rap star has slimmed down over recent months - but Ice insists that her physical transformation is the result of hard work in the gym, rather than using Ozempic, the weight-loss drug that is also used to treat type 2 diabetes.

Alongside a video of her gym routine, the 'Bikini Bottom' hitmaker wrote on X: "we beatin them allegations bae [laughing and love-heart emojis] (sic)"

In the video, Ice is seen lifting weights and running on a treadmill. At one point, Ice - whose real name is Isis Gaston - looks at the camera and shows a peace sign to her followers.

Prior to that, Ice took to social media to rubbish the suggestion that she uses Ozempic.

The rap star claimed that a strict workout routine and a healthy diet were the secrets to her success.

Speaking during an X Spaces chat, she said: "I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic, that's one thing I wish. Oh my god, like, what even is Ozempic? What the f*** is that? Genuinely, what is that, bro?

"Like, you lazy a** b****, you never heard of a gym? It's called the gym. It's called eating healthy. It's called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big."

Meanwhile, the rapper previously claimed that she's learned to embrace her critics.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: "When people ask me, 'Oh, how do you deal with the hate?' I don't give a s*** because I won, bro. I win at life.

"I can only just be grateful for people talking s***, for people supporting me. Everything that comes with the territory, I can only be grateful for."
