The professional wrestler - who is currently fighting in court for a $100 million pay out after website Gawker published a clip of him having sex with Heather Clem - and his legal team insist they did not want to "challenge" the editors about the footage and just wanted it taken down.

Speaking to the court today (09.03.16), Hulk's personal attorney David Houston said: "I tried to approach it in a human sense. The idea was, 'We're not here to challenge you. I'm asking you as a human being take down the video.' Some like to call it viral. In this case, it was cancerous."

Meanwhile, the 62-year-old sportsman - real name Terry Bollea - previously revealed he hasn't felt like himself since the footage was posted online.

He explained: "I just haven't felt like myself ... this is still tearing me up. I haven't been able to get back up to who I was before [the tape] ... I'm not the same person I was since all this craziness happened."

During today's (09.03.16) proceedings, jurors heard from AJ Daulerio, the former Gawker editor who wrote the article that accompanied the article, as well as John Cook, Gawker's current executive editor.
