Hugh Jackman says that he worries about the effect that being wealthy will have on his children.

The actor is returning to the big screen this week as he tackles hard-hitting drama Prisoners.

But over the years Jackman has become one of the most successful and popular actors with blockbuster roles in movies such as X-Men and The Wolverine.

It was rumoured earlier this year that Jackman has been offered a $100million deal to continue to play Wolverine over a series of future movie projects.

Speaking to The Times the actor said: "I've got more than I need, for sure. There's no doubt.

"When does it become gluttony? And is there a point when you say, 'That's enough! Give the rest away!' I'm a little embarrassed by it and a little uncomfortable with it.

"I struggle with it and what effect it will have on my children growing up".

Jackman is father to two children Oscar, 13 and Ava, 8 with wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
